Croix de Guerre 1940-1945

Established in April 1945 by Grand Duchess Charlotte of Luxembourg, the Croix de Guerre 1940–1945 is a military decoration awarded for distinguished service during World War II. It honors members of the Luxembourg armed forces and paramilitary organizations who displayed bravery or exceptional service. Foreign nationals who served Luxembourg could also receive this decoration. 

Médaille de la Couronne de Chêne

Instituted on 29 December 1841 by King William II, Grand Duke of Luxembourg, the Médaille de la Couronne de Chêne is part of the Order of the Oak Crown. This medal rewards outstanding civil and military services rendered by Luxembourg citizens, as well as achievements by distinguished artists. While primarily awarded to Luxembourg nationals, it can also be conferred upon foreigners in special cases with governmental consent. The medal exists in gold, silver, and bronze classes, acknowledging varying degrees of merit. Awarded on National Day, it honors contributions in government, civil service, culture, and volunteerism.
