An engineer who has rendered distinguished services to Canada in war and peace, and whose interest in military history has found expression in his many gifts to various museums in Canada.
The Brodie Building at CFSRCEME in CFB Borden houses the armament cell of artisan company’s weapons and electronics platoon and is used to train weapons technicians. It is named in honour of Lieutenant-Colonel Leseur Brodie, OC, a longtime secretary-treasurer of the RCEME Association, reservist, and wartime soldier who had been awarded the Order of Canada in 1976 for his accomplishments as an engineer in war and peace.
